Do you dread the thought of going to school or work? Contact a free hotline in Chile for support.

School and work are realities that few of us can avoid. When problems there become unbearable, it's easy to feel like you are somehow to blame. We are all unique. What’s easy for some may be trickier for others. There are 3 helplines in Chile to reach to for support if you are experiencing any of the following:
  • Feel excessively tired, depressed, hopeless, withdrawn, or consider turning to drugs or alcohol.
  • Pretend that you are sick, nauseous or hurt so that you can avoid attending.
  • Have powerful feelings of anger, defiance, frustration, rebellion and the sense that this is unfair.
  • Feel isolated, withdrawn and constantly tired at school or work.
  • Often absentee yourself for headaches, flu, injuries and stomach bugs that you don’t really have.
  • Avoid interacting or working on tasks by withdrawing, sleeping or hiding in the rest room.
  • Have thoughts of violence, self-harm or suicide because you feel trapped by school or work.
  • Feel incredibly self-conscious about social or professional interactions with others.
From heavy workloads and pressure from teachers or management, to low confidence, undiagnosed learning disorders, and subnormal vision or hearing. So many issues can drive serious challenges at school or work. Your worries may even be social ones. Interactions that others find easy may feel more demanding for you.
When negative feelings about school or work start impacting your ability to thrive, it might be time to speak to someone. You have the potential to find your voice and succeed, but sometimes you can only do this with support and understanding. Consider contacting a helpline in Chile for free, confidential help.
